Pink Himalayan Salt is a special form of salt that originated in the Himalayan Mountains. It has a light pink tint because of minerals present in the rock. Pink Himalayan Salt is mined mostly from the Himalayan Mountains of Pakistan and India. The pink color comes from iron oxides and miclite.

Pink Himalayan Salt is made from magnesium chloride and sodium chloride. Pink Salt is different from regular Himalayan Pink Salt because it contains a high amount of sodium and less of chloride. Himalayan Pink Salt has a high content of magnesium, calcium, manganese and potassium. Most importantly, Himalayan Pink Salt contains trace minerals like strontium, iodine, and potassium. These trace minerals are essential to human nutrition.

Himalayan Salt was used by the ancient Hindus as an important part of their diet. Hindu scriptures referred to it as “The Rock of Life” and it was seen as a holy body of Christ. Hindus strictly control salt intake and follow a number of dietary rules that include the minimum amount of salt on their food products. On the other hand, most Muslims in the west adhere to the” Fitr Allah” or” Hajj” which strictly restrict salt intake. It is believed that Himalayan Pink Salt contains negative ions that are beneficial for the heart.

Many recent studies have revealed that Himalayan Salt contains trace minerals that are beneficial to our health. Researchers have discovered that eating this type of salt not only improves cardiovascular health, it can also help reduce the risk of developing heart diseases, hypertension, diabetes, and osteoporosis. It was even discovered that it can help people live longer! This is why Himalayan Pink Salt is now becoming the preferred salt for a healthier heart.

Himalayan Pink Salt has been the subject of many salt rooms. This process involves slowly curing the rock salt in order to generate the desired color. During this curing process, the salt crystals will form into hues such as light pink, orange, yellow, green, purple and red. The mined salt stones will usually vary in color depending on the mine where it was mined. Salt lamps are another method that is used in order to produce the desired color.

Although Himalayan Pink Salt is being marketed as one of the most powerful natural remedies that is capable of reversing negative effects brought about by the environment, it is still being studied. It is still being regarded as a relatively new source of trace minerals. A lot of research still needs to be done before these types of products will be labeled as “active”. Because no concrete results have been proven yet, there are still a lot of skeptics who are not yet convinced about the efficacy of Himalayan Pink Salt.

However, this does not mean that Himalayan Pink Salt cannot be trusted. According to the International Medical Journal, Michael Warren of the University of Florida stated in an article that the mineral salts with the highest iodine content are those mined in the foothills of the Himalayan Mountains. Warren went further to claim that even pure untreated hematite can still contain up to 0.6 micrograms of iodine per gram of material. This is much more than what the World Health Organization (WHO) states as the recommended daily intake for humans.

In conclusion, many people are recognizing the potential benefits of Himalayan Pink Salt. Many prefer to purchase this type of salt rather than regular table salt because they tend to retain trace minerals naturally. Moreover, many users who have tried using this product also attest to its effectiveness.
